Hi,
This project came from the desire to work on my laptop in comfort. I was tired of picking up my laptop from the table beside my chair and putting it back 5-10 times a hour.

Made from Walnut, walnut scain and oil-urathine finish.
The section of the top that the Laptop rests on is hinged to incline/lower onto your lap while you are seated.

I love that. I have been looking for something similar to that. Do you have any plans? Does the pivot happen with hardware, or did you do it with a wooden mechanism?

Thanks for the idea. Keep up the good work.

Hi,
Thanks for the kind coments.
I do have plans of a sort. I’ll look into posting something.
The pivot is the strongest door hinge that I could find and some wood supports.

that is a great idea, necessity is the mother of invention, and for the record, for all us left handed people, this project looks even better if you look at the pictures in the mirror

Great functional piece! I could use one of those.

Randy,

This is a very nice project that is not only functional but it is good looking as well.

Very nicely done.
