This is a cherry roll top desk that I built a few years ago. I used the plans / drawings from woodsmith magazine issue #103.

Nice piece. Better photos might get more response? Almost passed it by on my projects review. How difficult was the roll top to make?

Thanks men , Doc the roll top was pretty easy , I had to put 3 coats of contact cement on the canvas , I think if I were to make another rolltop I would invest in some router bits that will cut the slates so that they interlock . I will take some new digital pictures and post them soon. Roger I will post some pictures of the chair as well in a seperate post.
