This is a cherry roll top desk that I built a few years ago. I used the plans / drawings from woodsmith magazine issue #103.

I just saw them make this on The Woodsmith Shop TV show and it caught my eye. It is on my to do list. Very nice job.

Nice piece. Better photos might get more response? Almost passed it by on my projects review. How difficult was the roll top to make?

Thanks men , Doc the roll top was pretty easy , I had to put 3 coats of contact cement on the canvas , I think if I were to make another rolltop I would invest in some router bits that will cut the slates so that they interlock . I will take some new digital pictures and post them soon.
Roger I will post some pictures of the chair as well in a seperate post.
