This is a Poker Table I completed a number of years ago. This was during a time when I was covering everything with Bubinga Veneer. The self retracting cup holders about doubled the time of the entire project but really gave it a WOW factor. I veneered every inch of them including the inside of the holders. I used a thick epoxy on the inside bottom of the cup holders and they have really help up well to any moisture. The base of the table is Cherry wood with a Washington finish. It still blows me away how well this table turned out. I have won and lost a lot of money on this Table!

It is almost museum quality. I hope you made enough money in poker to pay for the table! A lifetime project for most woodworkers! Par excellance!!!

Absolutely gorgeous; wonderful craftsmanship and design. You better lose a few hands or your buddies will think you have another hidden compartment beside the cup holders.

Really nice piece !
I particularly like the pedestals and feet.
If I had to pick, I would say that the metal drawer slides detract from the beautiful wood and workmanship all around them but that is a small thing and can be forgiven.
Were you hammer veneering or is it all pressed?

This is incredibly nice. The veneer figure is amazing, and the craftsmanship of the base is top notch. The turned and fluted columns are amazing… I have no idea how you made flutes along a curve like that.

NEVER play poker with someone who brings his own table! Especially if it is as nice as this one!

That’s one great sweet table. I don’t think words due it justice, so I’ll just say excellent piece of work.
