M shaped bandsaw jewelry box made for a customer for Christmas. purpleheart and walnut striping front and back, oak center, redheart handles. Seven drawers, with a necklace drawer. Lavender felt insides. Lacquer finish.
Since someone will ask, this went for $90. Took about 4.5 hours of my time spread across a number of days inbetween guitars.
Thanks for lookin’!

For all those who noticed it is “leaning”, that was on purpose. The M is representitive of a written M, and they wanted a definite “handmade” look.

Nicely done. The color combination is cool, but the contrast between the purpleheart and the walnut kinds of gets lost in the pictures. Is it more pronounced in real life?

The purpleheart really pops in real life, Joe. These pics were taken under cheapo shop florescents.
