This was a quick and easy project I made for a bunch of christmas presents, for coworkers, friends and such. I made 18 of them in all. Wine bottle balancers. Made from various woods including cocobolo, lacewood, orchard cherry, spalted beech, paduak, tazmanian myrtle, birdseye maple, ect.
Like I said, fairly simple, but making and finishing 18 of them took a bit of time. They were all very well received! But as you can see, one of my (less swift) friends couldn’t quite figure out how to use it.

what are the angles those are cut on? I have a piece of walnut that would make some really decent looking holders like that.
