Here is a cutting board I made for a friends mom. She has been asking for one for a while, and I finally got around to finishing it for her just before christmas. It is made from curly walnut, thin purpleheart strips, and the same orchard cherry I mentioned above. It’s beautiful wood. I just kind of winged the shape, but made it to her size specifications. 14” long (not including handle), 8” wide, and 3/4” thick.
