A garage storage or craft storage organizer that my grandfather made for years. Due to his eyesight he can’t make stuff like this anymore but he showed me how to make them. Overall it is 34” high, 27” wide and 9” deep. The case is plywood and the drawers are particle board. Stained the whole thing with cherry. The small drawers are 6” wide, 9” deep and 2” tall. The bigger drawers are 3 1/2” tall.

Great storage solution and great for organization—we can all profit from this I’m guessing.

That looks really great, I’m stealing this idea for out in my shed.

Are they quite quick to knock together?

Ya, they go together pretty easily. Once I get all the parts to the drawers cut out I make the hand part on the front of the drawers. I have a jig for that. I can put together about 8 drawers in an hour once i have all the pieces ready to assemble. The case goes together pretty easy too. Total, probably 10 hours but I am kinda OCD with my measurements.

I have a similar version (in metal) Got it from a company I used to work for when they were gonna throw it away. Best thing is it was free…. worst thing is that it’s FULL of hardware, nuts & bolts, screws, fittings and such and it weighs a TON! I almost became an alto when I unloaded it off the U-haul when we moved here.

It’s 31”w X 38”h X 13”d

Any of you guys who plan on building one of these…. when you decide on what size and how many drawers to make…. DOUBLE IT! Because I PROMISE you that in no time you’ll be saying “I shoullda made it bigger”.

Believe me, it’ll fill up faster than you think!
