Computer Desk 2

Project by Randy posted 557 days ago 379 views 3 times favorited 10 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Hi,
This is a computer desk I built for my sister. She wanted something usefull but not too bulky. I went with the slatted sides to give it a more airy look and not this big massive feel in a small room.

That is beautiful! It. What is the wood? Looks like either walnut, or oak with a walnut stain.

I’m guessing from the tag that you made this with Ash, though my first thought was that you used walnut.
this is a great looking desk. the slatted side do exactly what you were looking for. it looks like a very comfortable desk.
nice work!

Nice and clean design, I’d say you definitely made it great for a small room, simple but not like RTA furniture

Hi,
Thanks for the kind coments.
I think I used Ash with Walnut stain. The finish is oil-urithine by General Finishes.

Randy,

This is a beautiful desk. I like the design and your finish looks wonderful.

Thanks for the post.
