We had a huge pecan tree blow over on our ranch and this is made from one branch. I’m just barely learning how to woodwork so the craftsmanship is nothing special but the material is amazing. I made this shelf to keep all of my babies clothes on it. I have tons more material like this but going slowly on using it so I don’t mess it up. All comments on how to improve are greatly appreciated.

Absolutely gorgeous wood, one of my favorites. Stunning piece of furniture for sure. Never ceases to amaze what mother nature creates…. and then just gives to you, huh?

I just love pecan and using it in a shelf really shows off all that beautiful grain! Oh and I have some room in my garage if you need to store some :) Not sure how much of it you will get back though :)

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Rdjack21 if you’re close to Austin Texas I might be able to hook you up with a little since we have the same last name and all. I do have some extra.
