The inspiration came from a bowl I turned last week. The walnut I cut off the glue up of five boards was perfect for this. I smoothed it and found a solid walnut chunk that’s been tripping me on the floor and here it is. A few more coats of wipe on poly and it’ll be complete.

Voids in the base are filled with turquoise dust, and voids in the arm are filled with brass powder.
