This bin was made for the storage of vinyl records. My father and I made it as a gift to my brother who has worked up a collection of records. The construction is from maple plywood and veneer stripping. The joints are all pocket holed, screwed and glued using a Porter Cable Quick Jig.
The two top sh elves were made to hold the records forward facing and the bottom shelf will hold them sideways facing. There is room in the back for “secret storage.” There is currently no stain or poly on the bin. It will be done later.
Inspiration and loose dimensions were from here.

Great job, I spent many hours at the record shop thumbing through the 33’s as a kid … Yes they had records back then.

Just curious….what is a vinyl record?
Kidding! Couldn’t resist, though.
Have your say...
