I had a piece of walnut from an attempt at a box that was already cut at 45 on both ends. I have been wanting to give this a shot, so here it is. Took a me a few test cuts to get the balance, but as you can see, it works! Used the router table to round over the edges, got a little carried away and rounded the bottom, did not balance any more. Back to the table saw, sanded, Watco DO, then some paste wax. This will be a gift to my dads wife. I see alot more of these in my future, as gifts, quick and easy.
