Window seat and mantle

Project by griff posted 560 days ago 357 views 3 times favorited 9 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Heres a window seat and mantle I recently built, built out of birch plywood and painted. The mantle was the first one that I had ever attempted, I thought they turned out ok. The owner liked them

That’s one heck of a mantle. I like the storage of your window seat. Nice work.

I like the look of the windowseat. I wonder if the owner will use it for anything other than storage… it looks so peaceful with that view.

Griff,

Both of these turned out nicely. You created a beautiful mantle with lots of detail. The paint job looks good as well.

The client should be happy with your work both pieces are gorgeous.

Well done.

Griff,
The window seat looks great. How did you know that “wifey’ wants me to build a nearly 14’ long window seat in our TV room? You work looks like a design she would enjoy. I’d love to get some ideas on how you constructed the unit. Feel free to message me here or at Umpireboss@yahoo.com. Thanks for posting.
