Shore lamps

In 2010 I had made a couple lamps for our place at the shore and one of the small local shop owners (Rehoboth) ask me if I would make a couple for her. After only selling 1 over that summer and the next, I found a small shop in Bethany in 2012 that was expanding their inventory and moving into a building across the street to sell home furnishings and ask if they had ever seen them. I took him a couple pics next visit and they ask if I could make them some. I pulled what was left in the other shop and made another to go along with them and the new shop sold them in 3 weeks! Needless to say, I’ve made a total of 8 lamps for the new shop and as of the season close, all but 2 had sold. Since I promised him no 2 would ever be exactly alike since I made them by hand, coming up with new designs is a challenge. I’m making some now for next season and hope they sell as well as the last bunch.

Love these.
That’s quite a challenge to never make two the same.
Hope you charge plenty for these.

You are very creative Pops, with a good eye and sense of design. May I make a suggestion? instead of promising to make each one of your creations unique, promise to make them only in limited editions, and sign and number each one. That way you can make 25 or even a 100 or 250 of the same design and hopefully make even more money with less stress coming up with new ideas.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your beautiful creations.
