‘Ello again!
These are my second turnings, created using my second late ‘design’. Check out my blog for details, or if you’re feeling lazy here’s a pic.
The first two are quickies I did just to test out my new ‘design’ and have some fun. The third is my pride and joy so far, a doodad made out of purpleheart to see if I am able to turn hardwood. (Yes, but really damn slowly!) The third is a doohickey made from a mystery wood, salvaged from a tea box. Does anyone know what this is? It turns like butter, even with my rather dull chisel. But unfortunately, it gives me sneezing/coughing fits :(
Cheers,
Marcel

These show improvements that come with practice.
Well done.

Very nice job. Keep on turning. Hardwoods are actually easier to turn than softwoods. Just keep your tools very sharp. I look forward to seeing more turnings.
