Router table wing and extension wing for my Ridgid R4511 TS.
The wings are made from 2 layers of 3/4” MDF trimmed with some salvaged mahogany trim.
I added a router plate, t-track, miter track and safety switch from Rockler. The Formica was given to me by a friend that works in a cabinet shop (some of their throwaways).
The fence was a plan from “wood” magazine “Router Tips, Tricks and Jigs 2008.”
It is built to hold my DeWalt DW618 router.
The overall width of the saw is now 74”.
I had replaced the original split fence guide previously with a 6’ 2”X 2” steel tube in anticipation of this project. I also replaced the angle fence guide on the back of the saw with a 6’ one.
These are used to support the wings.
Please excuse the messy shop.

Very good. Having the same tablesaw I notice the rip fence addition. Is that attached or just a snug fit?

Nicely done, and a great use of space! Super nice router station you’ve got going there!

Looks good. Two tools in the same footprint as one. Thanks for sharing
