I made some little things in the shop today and I am sharing them all with you. The square one is about 4.5” square the others are about 3” wide.. so fairly small.
The ones with light-on-dark are oak laminated on top of mahogany and the dark-on-light are walnut burl laminated on maple.
I like this style a lot so I plan on making quite a bit more of them. I have a lot of thin scraps that are just perfect for it.
