My first cutting boards and just in time for Xmas. I can certainly see how one can get addicted to making them ;)
Mine are made of walnut and maple and finished with salad bowl finish. I gave one each to my sisters, who were both delighted!

The big “win” here was that I used the planer to flatten the cutting boards; made one cut, then flipped the board to make the next… and so on, until they were flat and smooth. There was a little chip-out but I just trimmed them up on the table saw.
