Double Edged Push Stick

A day dream brought to life. I know it’s a little elaborate for a push stick but no matter which end you grab it’s the right end. Or, if one end is worn just flip it over. If all else fails, maybe it will spark a conversation or two.

Looks like the outcome of some nice shop time. And it can double as a trivet! And one of those oven-pull things…it could be the creation to beat all! ;-)

I wonder how difficult it would be to make one end wider than the other? Two things I hate doing is cutting up my push stick when ripping something to thin or having a push stick that is super thin and doesn’t feel beefy enough for thicker cuts. Sounds like this might be a fix for both issues!

Great idea AJ. It would be as simple as running a rabbit down the edge of one side leaving only what is needed for the thinner rips. I’m going to making more of these in the future and plan on incorporating this. Thanks!
