Hi, everyone. Been a while. Here are a few things of recent. First two pics are the nursing stool I’ve been known to make. A cherry, a walnut and a birch. Detail shot with the tag on it is the birch. My favorite look of the three. The little bowl is windfall cherry from a local park. I collected it last winter. The bookcase, not gorgeous but serviceable. Cull wood from big orange big box. Whole bookcase cost about 12 bucks and was finished in leftover oil paint and shellac on the trim. The chest is indeed that of pirate origin. My son is three and he will disembowel you with his foam cutlas and not loose a night’s sleep over it. He keeps all variety of random booty under lock and key. Made of maple scrap on the bottom and poplar up top. Exposed nails = quick and dirty and appropriate character. That is all, my friends. Happy New Year! PS… whoops. Pizza peel in there, too. Wife’s bday present by request! Walnut, maple and birch.

Nice selection of projects, good way to catch it all up. Good score on the piece of cherry.
