This is one of my first woodworking projects. I think I was about 10 when I built it. I was staying at my Grandparents house, and my Grandpa always had a bin of scraps that I could use. I am thinking I used the benchtop bandsaw in the basement workshop to make all the cuts, and I must have used a chisel to recess the hinges. The scraps were leftover from the trim in the house. I had completely forgotten about it until I saw it this past summer while I was in town for my sister’s wedding.

Always fun to look back to where we began.
Good job
-- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it. - It's not ability that we often lack, but the patience to use our ability
