Just finished another vase today. This one is made with Black Walnut, Oak and Birch. I then stained with golden oak. It is about 14 inches tall and a little over nine inches through.

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t stain a segmented piece but I’ve got to admit this one turned out great, so you’re doing something right. Good work!

Segment turning is one of most difficult projects in my opinion and you are doing it great. One thing I would liike to have in my shop is one mini lathe for start.I would like to learn some turning.
