This is a curly cherry wall-hung jewelry cabinet that I made my wife for Christmas 2012. A few things didn’t go as planned, but overall it’s beautiful. The wood is “special” because it’s from a batch that I purchased in 2006 for a crib that I made for my first child. I’ve had a few boards hanging around for years waiting for a special project … this fit the bill. The curly cherry board is very beautiful.

Great craftsmanship, Im sure your wife loves it.

And that is definitely some special wood. Im continually blown away by the lumber that shows up on these project boards.

That turned out beautifully. And being made from cherry, it’ll age gracefully, too.
