This was made for a friend of mine. Everything but the gallery rail is poplar. The gallery rail is oak purchased from a big box store. My friend is a fan of red, so a bright red acrylic paint and topcoat was applied. First picture shows it hung on her wall. She paints as a hobby, so the shelf matches the frames of her paintings. Frames were also made by me, and painted the bright red color she likes.
