My wife’s been wanting a desk for the bedroom so I decided to make her one for Christmas.
All made from cherry with a walnut accent, then getting carried away I made a matching chair which still needs the seat upholstered.
The chair is light years from a Maloof but it was my first attempt at a chair, the wife is happy with it, of course she’s my biggest fan, LOL.
Then to finish it off I made a matching lamp, still have to find a shade for it.

That is a beautiful job you did n that desk. i lake the trim in walnut. Nice touch!!

Great job both on the desk and chair. Nice design on the trim with the color contrast, matches perfectly with the chair and even the floor.

I love how you added those extra angles to the drawer box frames to match the angles in the top. That’s a great detail. I’d love to see some more photos of this desk from different angles. Awesome work!
