Wooden Tongs

Just a few pairs of tongs I built as quick Christmas presents. They’re maple with padauk splines. They were made approximately according to this video by John Heisz of, just a little smaller.

Finish is pharmacy mineral oil.

Thanks guys, glad you like them. Just another note I can add…I used Titebond III since it is food safe, rather than the PL Premium that John uses. These things are quick. Making the three of them probably took no more than an hour total. A very very quick project, and a great little gift.
