My granddaughter is in the middle of that most special season of her young life—potty training ;-) So my daughter asked if there’s a chance I could make her a stool she could use to help her reach the sink when she washes her hands after being successful at her, uh, endeavors, and I happened to remember having downloaded the plans from an “I Can Do That” article in Popular Woodworking. It was a hit on Christmas morning.

The wood is reclaimed clear pine from some old bookshelves that were removed from my stepmother’s house a few years ago.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Pretty stool! Even great with a study table not just for potty training.
