I converted the bypass doors to bi-fold and added the central drawer and shelving unit. The left side of the closet has 1 clothes rod for long items and the right side has 2 clothes rods for shorter items.
The orliginal top shelf was retained.

I like this one too. my sister could probably use something like this at her house. I’ll have to send her the link… of course then I’d end up building it for her since my BIL would never be able to do it!!
