I have a new grandson and wanted to do a little something special for him for Christmas. Also a friend had a son recently so I decided to make a couple of baby rattles. One is made out of English Walnut and the lighter one is made from a piece of Basswood. After turning I put ten navy beans in each one and glued the handle on. For a finish I just used mineral oil.
