Here’s a little jewelry box finished just in time for a good friends niece’s Christmas gift. Made from figured maple and Bloodwood splines and feet. It’s all solid and about 3/4” thickness. I tried and tried to get him to bring nice hinges, but nope, so I worked with what I had. Overall I’m satisfied with the result.

Wow, nice work! Is there a particular plan you worked from, or did you design it?

That is a wonderful jewelery box. I like how you designed the feet.

Very nice job on this. You did a great job making those hinges work for this box.

A very nice work of art, a real eye catcher, I’m sure she’s going to love it.
