That’s some of the lightest colored Rosewood I’ve ever seen. What kind is it?
Very nice design and craftsmanship… Was this your own design?

I love the simple door closure. I need to make a spice rack for my kitchen. Inspiring!
Very nice.

Hi Chris, since I live in Thailand I am assuming that the wood is a Thai species but it could be from one of the neighboring countries., I ordered it from a local supplier. It is the natural color as it was not stained, only sprayed with several coats of urethane. As with most rosewood I assume it will darken with age.
The base design was derived off the net from a Popular Woodworking plan labeled as a ‘traditional cabinet’ but as I tend to do, it was modified to suit my taste and my needs. It was assembled with a Dmax.
Thx for the compliments by all.

That is a beautiful cabinet and I really like the wood’s grain and color.
Well done.

Great looking spice cabinet.
