This is a case that started in my shop and was finished by my friend Mike for a local church in time for the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on 12-12-12. The stature of Our Lady of Guadalupe is take from house to house and had to be well protected. When Mike was given the wooden stature, it was broken at the base and he repaired it and reinforced it with fiberglass from the inside. You cannot even see that it was repaired.

We made the box and lid at my shop and he made the outside trim and interior statue supports and added the hinged, handle and hasps.
She can be safely carried from now on.
Great work Mike!!...........................Jim

Looks good but the pics can’t be zoomed for some reason. Maybe it’s the storm we’re having…
Merry Christmas by the way.

Yes Monte I saw they were not clear when I transferred them from his E mail, but the box is gone and we can’t retake them soon. Sorry, Jim

Nice way to fix a problem… GOOD JOB!

I’m glad it was your end about the pictures… I was beginning to think I should get my eyes checked… no matter what eye I used, it was still blurry… LOL

... but, we got the idea…!!

NICE!!
