Spalted Maple and Walnut Box #2

A second box made from spalted maple burl and walnut left overs. This box is 6” log by 4 ” wide by 3 ” tall. The voids in the top and at each end of the handle where filled with epoxy and dark and light coloured sawdust

Theres a lot of boxes to look at these days, but this one really caught my eye!! the curved lid of spalted maple really makes it!! great job!!

Thanks everyone. G-Mike, the hinges are just wood dowls, brass pins would have been a nice touch. I’ll keep that in mind for future boxes.
