This was the first bandsaw box that I made once I had a bandsaw. It was cut from a bowl blank. The finish is mineral oil and the pulls are rosewood. If you are a Star Wars fan, this piece reminds me of the sand people on Tattoine.
This was given a Christmas gift to a family friend.

I love bandsaw boxes and this one is a beauty for sure.
you can hide the entry cuts a bit better if you enter along the grain, then when you glue it up it hides better.
I really like the wood you chose, it is outstanding for sure.

The rosewood complements with the maple. I always love band saw boxes.
