Here’s a box I made for my 20 year old niece for Christmas. It’s made with mahogany and Peruvian walnut.I accidentally installed the hinges backwards so there was a noticeable gap when closing the box. I added a walnut border to close the gap and I think it worked out ok. I lined the inside with Spanish cedar for that lovely scent. Finished with Danish oil. Thanks for looking.
