This is a xmas gift I made for the inlaws. I used walnut for the body and douglas fir for the top and bottom. I then dipped it in tung oil and sprayed 3 coats of triple thick glaze for the finish. It came out nice, the only thing I did wrong is, it fits perfect one way but if you spin the top around 180, it doesn’t fit as good. Need to figure out how not to do that the next time. Always learning something on every project
