I made this for a friend of mine to give to his wife for Christmas. The box sides and top are Birdseye Maple, the handle and mitre splines are made from Pink Ivory. The set includes a pen and pencil that is also made from Pink Ivory. I got most of my inspiration from this web site: www.timberbits.com/blog, he has videos and examples on his site and its very well done. I learned a lot during this project and had some fun along the way. This is my first box with mitre splines. Any and all comments are welcome.
