A couple toy boxes for my wife’s nephew and cousin’s child. My wife painted the scenes on the lids. MDF boxes wrapped in pine. My first tongue and groove joint on the lids with mitered corners. Not a big fan of painting projects but these turned out alright.

Turned out really well. Paintings are really eye-catching.

Toy boxes. Are they big enough??
I like the paintings too. You can’t go wrong with color in a kid’s room….......................

Like them. Kids don’t care much about the natural beauty of wood. The paint is more appropriate for them.
