Last Christmas gift of the year!!

It a curio cabinet…..

Solid Walnut, glass shelves LED light to illuminate whatever it is that chicks like to put in cabinets like this!!!

Several coats of semi-gloss lacquer….sanded with 1500 grit after 24 hours….and a coat of fine oil applied to finish it off…
The feel of the finish is very rech and lustrous….you cannot take your hands off it!!!

I really enjoy “single board” projects…. This item was made with a single walnut board about 8 inches wide and 8 feet long. The reason this board “spoke to me” was its location within the log… It has just enough sapwood to create a rage of colors within the board. The fact that the case is illuminated will really help to show off the beauty of the wood in this piece.
