Lego Table w/ Storage

Last year I built a Dress up Storage for my girls so this year I figured I would continue the new tradition of building a gift. Like their father, my girls love LEGOs so what better project than a Lego Table. The top has 3 LEGO plates and room to work on the sides. The LEGO plates are attached to plexiglass so they can be flipped over and use as a flat surface to do projects and drawing. The bins provide plenty of storage and can be inserted with or without the covers (room in the middle insert for the tops). The top is removable to make it easier to move but otherwise I put wheels on the base to make it mobile. The hardest part was figuring out what glue to use to place the LEGO plates on the plexiglass (after some trial and error figured out the PVC glue worked the best).

I agree with Scotty, I wish I had this when I was growing up—or when our daughter was small. The girls are lucky to have a Dad like you!

I like the dual-use top. That’s a nice touch.

Good idea, I built an 8’ long table that hangs off the wall under his windows in his. It is almost big enough.

Have fun.
