You did a smooth job on this plane. It is a winner. I love the wood combination as well. How about a series of these?

Great plane. Very smoooth!!! Thanks for posting. I can easily see this becoming addicting.

I saw that article in FWW and I really look forward to making my own some day.

Did you get one of the thick irons from Hock tools? Also are you using a chip breaker?

I’ll have to dig ot the FWW article. My subscription is over . . . Shoud renew. I like the look a lot, but what’s really nice is that the “look” is also very ergonomic. I’ve seen many pretty planes that don’t seem very functional. Well done
