Christmas is a busy time of year and sometimes it can get overwhelming, at least for me. In the midst of getting gifts made and wrapped, and wondering if people will like what you have made for them I needed a personal reminder of the reason for this season. I made this simple Nativity Scene for my wife and I.

Spectacular job!

Something is wrong when a minority can rule the whole country on what CHRISTMAS is.

Not even Christmas decorations as such in some schools! ONLY WINTER HOLIDAY!

John, I apologize for not posting the source for the Nativity plans. I found them on Steve Goods website He is really a great educator and promoter of scrolling and he operates on a donation basis.

The scroll work is made of cedar and the background is birch stained first with golden oak, I thought is was too light so I went over it with a walnut stain. I finished it with three coats of high gloss spray lacquer.

Just an aside, my down draft dust collection system works beautifully. I really appreciated it when cutting the cedar figures.

I am blessed to have found LJs this past year. You are a great bunch of folks.

Wonderful job! A great reminder for us the true meaning of Christmas. Bonus is that you can easily set it up
on any table or wherever place you want to show it.

Lovely work. Steve Good is a great teacher. I watch his vids on YouTube.

I agree. This is thee reason for the season. Very nicely done. I like it’s small size, but, big statement. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Have a safe holiday season.
