Most of you get to build fun things for your grandchildren. I build what my daughter tells me to. Let’s just say she can be somewhat “difficult” to disagree with. So this is what she said they needed.

They are 50” x 36” x 16”. Both are Beetle Kill Pine, 2” slabs. I figure they can climb them and jump off to excite their mother!

One has more blue, the other is from a tree that had also been struck by lightning (brown streaks down the side).

Very nice. A set of loud drums under the Christmas tree might add a little excitement too :)

Those are pretty sweet Monte, gotta weigh a ton though. Will be zero danger of them destroying them….another winner bud.

Nice, they look to be a hundred years old. But I guess that was the idea.
