Boards I gave my kids for Christmas.

I stole all the ideas from you fellow LJ’s and I am unrepentant. Much thanks.

The one board is Purpleheart, Yellowheart and Maple.

The Z board is just Walnut and Maple

The last board is Walnut, Maple and a little Cherry………..the Cherry barely popped even a little.

Brands are always asked about. This is our family ranch brand. These little brands are for branding the backs of gloves so the owner can be easily identified. Like when a bunch of us are riding our horses and stop, throw all our gloves in a pile or accidentally drop one………the owner can be easily identified.

We picked the brands up at a huge Western Arts and Crafts show called Cowboy Christmas that is held during the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas the first week of December each year.

One penny is 2012 and the other is the birth year of each kid………. (how can they be kids in their 30”s ??)

I like the idea of the 2-penny-dating system, very creative. And very nice boards!
