I picked up a few pieces of a dogwood tree that had to be taken down at a friend’s farm. This is the trunk piece. Check out the worm/beetle/ant/termite tracks and trails…I thought they were fascinating. Thousands of them I’m sure. Holds 12 bottles of wine. The base is recycled from an old pub table. I epoxied 5 pieces of threaded rod in the bottom to bolt it to the base. Sealed with multiple clear coats. It is, without a doubt in my mind, the coolest project I have ever completed.
