This medium-large ash bowl was cut from an enormous firewood log. It sold quickly, but during the time I had it in the house I really enjoyed the cut and shape of the bowl. Bark edge was saturated with CA glue. Wood finish is buffed with tripoli, white diamond and finally carnauba wax. As is my style of working, this bowl was turned without regard to moisture content.

Hi Niece bowl would like to see bottom. You must be one of a few in the USA who turns apiece finish regardless of moisture content this is done here in South Africa by almost all turners. Well done Regards Tamboti
