Oak and Walnut Lazy Susan

This Lazy Susan is made from Red Oak and Walnut. It needed to be 20 inches in diameter which was a little but of a problem because my CNC only has an 18” capacity. I guess I could have tried my luck with the band saw but I don’t have a circle jig so I would have had to do it by hand. So I made it in two halves and then cut each halve into a semi-circle on the CNC. I had to run both halves through the jointer one pass each and then they lined up perfectly. Glued the two together, rounded the edges, sanded it, attached the Lazy Susand base, and put a coat of Howards Butcher Block Conditioner on it.
