From cut-offs of Oak, Walnut, Ash, and Maple. The pattern for these boxes came from a book by Lois Keener Ventura, called, Sculpted Band Saw Boxes. A very nice varienty of bs box how-to’s, and patterns. Finished with Shellac and a couple coats o Johnsons paste wax. These are 2 of the 7 that I need as gifts for Christmas THIS year..LOL I got these 2 done because I gotta get em on the sleigh (post-office) in the mornin… I still need to get the others done, but, I they will be hand delivered. Thnx for checkin in, and any comment/s, good, bad, and/or ugly will be noted, and appreciated. hohoho :)

Hey Roger, these look really nice. But what do they have to do with ice cream? :-)

Well Done Roger! I am going to have to give band saw boxes a try. I just can’t get motivated to do the glue ups. LOL

Nice boxes Roger! You look like you have a production line going. I like the chicken wire/drawer idea. I’m gonna do that. You should post that as a shop tip!

The finishes are stunning! Don’t you love how shellac looks?? It is one of my favorite finishes. Beautiful boxes, too! You are going to be one tired elf come December 26th! (That is – if the world doesn’t end Friday! LOL) You are going to have lots of happy people on your list though! Great projects!
Sheila :)

Very nice in deed Roger, great production you have going especially making mass amounts the paper makes it go quick, though I no longer use glue and paper all of mine are free handed onto the wood but for something like this would make things go quicker.
