'Jasper' Cottage Sign

A lady at work saw my website and asked if I could make a sign for her husband for the cottage sign post as a Christmas gift. After working out the details with her, this is what I came up with.

- Distance to Jasper from their cottage is 3141 Km
- Black Bears all over the place
- They were both working at the Jasper Park Lodge which is where they met and fell in love. She asked if there was some way of representing the lodge so I found a picture of the sign as it is now (renamed to the Fairmount Jasper Park Lodge) which I used as a reference
- Spruce trees are all over the place (I think the Black Bears….well, you know, ‘go’ in the woods)

Three coats of General Finish Enduro which I hope will hold up to the weather.

Fun project.
