This endgrain chopping board and matching knife were ordered by a friend as a wedding gift..
Made from Huon Pine… from Tasmanian… and Karri… related to Jarrah… from Western Australia…
400mm by 250mm and 35mm thick…

what a beautiful job larry, i know this will be a wonderful gift for them, what is this huon pine, is it a hardwood, being called pine makes me think of a soft wood, and i know there usually not used in cutting boards, send me a pm if you have time and educate me on this, its very beautiful..merry christmas mate…
